AvSYS is an RTOS which uses message-based multitasking,
without context switching. Pre-emption is possible via a background
scheduler, which is interrupt-driven and which can post messages
to the foreground scheduler. AvSYS is the perfect jumping off
point if you're looking to develop your own in-house RTOS, as
it includes full source code, well-commented and well-documented.

Avocet's Big Bang Simulator for the 68010 and
68020 is a complete debugging tool, providing access to registers,
flags, and memory which may be examined, modified, and disassembled.

This simulator is operated at the Command Prompt. While the
user interface by today's standards is now positively antique
(similar to MSDOS' DEBUG or CP/M's DDT), these simulators have
been rebuilt as WIN32 Console apps and can be run all Windows
versions from 95 through 7 and are rock solid.

While Avocet no longer produces, repairs or maintains
in-circuit emulators or Background Mode debuggers (BMDs), the
driver software is still sold.
Avocet's Sourcegate CD contains most major revisions of HMI
emulator and BMD user interface software. Spefically, this applies
to HMI-200, SPS 1000 and SPS 2000 emulators and also the HMI
Background Mode Debuggers . If you have a really old emulator,
such as the Single Board Emulator, then it is a near certainty
that nothing on the CD will help you. Sourcegate versions included
are version 4.0.1 32 bit, version 4.0.1 16 bit, version 3.00
and the old MSDOS drivers. There is also a selection of application
notes and technical support questions and answers. Note that
there are no DOS drivers for BMDs. As the Sourcegate CD contains
about 180 MBytes of data, it can not easily be delivered as
an email attachment and is therefore always provided on CD.
We also offer the Softaid/UEM driver softare under the same
terms.
