Though we are not currently hiring, we are happy to accept applications by mail. We were located in the beautiful harbor town of Rockport, Maine just 5 minutes from Camden harbor, with the view shown above on looking to the East. The view has changed a little since the photo was taken by reason of the new YMCA having been constructed nearby. Avocet is now located a few miles away in the Rockland Industrial Park. The atmosphere is casual; in summer, this is a t-shirt and shorts environment. We occasionally need applicants for the following two positions:

Technical Sales
Phone skills and computer knowledge to work in technical sales. No cold calling required.

Programmer
Programmer with a background in the C and C++ languages. Microcontroller assembly language skills are a plus.
