Job Opportunities
Though we are not currently hiring, we are happy to accept applications by mail. We were located in the beautiful harbor town of Rockport, Maine just 5 minutes from Camden harbor, with the view shown above on looking to the East. The view has changed a little since the photo was taken by reason of the new YMCA having been constructed nearby. Avocet is now located a few miles away in the Rockland Industrial Park. The atmosphere is casual; in summer, this is a t-shirt and shorts environment.

Broadly speaking, we would be looking for ability in sales; order entry, responding to inquiries. Shipping and knowledge of related paperwork is useful.

On the more technical side, our interest would be in those with database knowledge in addition to familiarity with programming in C and C++. Knowledge or experience in maintaining or developing translators a plus.
