Status
AMD 28F020 256KB (8x256K) Cannot be supported generically. This device requires software time delays (10ms) to alter the chip's content as well as control of target specific voltages, neither of which can be supported generically. (5-21-99)
AMD 68F333 CPU A 16KB and a 48KB block Can be supported. Contact HMI if you need this device.
Catalyst 28F010P 128KB (8x128K) Can be supported. Contact HMI if you need this device.

Notes

  1. SourceGate is designed to address devices as if all sectors of a given type are the same size (ie. for erasure purposes, all sectors are the same size). Boot block sector type devices however do not follow this convention. These devices are therefore addressed according to a logical rather than a physical configuration. For example, if a device is divided into one 16K, two 8K, one 32K, and seven 64K sectors, then the first four physical sectors are lumped into a single logical sector so that the device appears to have eight equally size 64K sectors.

  2. If a device is available or configurable in ways not referenced by the model number, then the specific model or configuration referenced is given in RED text. The other configurations may be referenced elsewhere in this page.

  3. Device names in BOLD have been verified in-house. Where applicable only a given chip configuration and/or variation may have been tested. When this is so, the particular configuration and/or variation are noted in parentheses.

  4. If you are using a device that is not listed and need support please contact HMI and we will determine if the device can be support and if so, give you a timeframe it will be available. Some devices can be added in a matter of a couple of hours and others may take some time.
